  1. Darrell H. Cole, President and CEO

    Darrell H. Cole
    President & CEO

    For over 35 years, Darrell has lead a team of highly trained and dedicated people whose passion is serving and supporting the North American mining industry. Darrell began his career with United Central in 1976. He holds a B.A. from Bluefield State College and a MBA from East Tennessee State University. He is a director of the Eastern Coal Council and a former director of the Virginia Mining Association.

  2. Henry E. Looney, Vice President of Materials Management

    Henry has dedicated his entire career to serving and supporting miners and the mining industry. Henry leads the company – wide sales and marketing team whose overriding purpose is to provide the very best products and services to the North American mining industry. Henry attended King College in Bristol, Virginia, where he earned a B.A. in Economics and Business.

  3. Michael Culbert, Chief Financial Officer

    For the past 5 years, Mike has dedicated his career to industries that serve and support the North American mining industry. As CFO of United Central, Mike is responsible for the company’s financial interests and oversees the company’s accounting, information services, and credit departments. Mike obtained his BBA in Accounting from East Tennessee State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.

  4. Christopher P. McClendon, Vice President – Materials Management

    Chris is responsible for the company's purchasing, pricing and inventory control functions. His focus is on serving and supporting miners and the mining industry with world class products and services designed to lower a mine’s total operating costs and create operational efficiencies. Chris attended the University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. Chris also earned his Executive Negotiation Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania – Wharton School and is a Certified Production and Inventory Control Manager.
